Cookies & Tracking

Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how DronBrix Limited ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit dronbrix.com. It explains what these technologies are, why we use them, and the rights you have to control our use of them.

By continuing to browse our website, you consent to our use of cookies in accordance with this policy. You may adjust your preferences at any time using the controls described in Section 5.

01

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device — computer, smartphone, or tablet — when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to site owners.

Cookies are not programmes and cannot carry viruses or install software on your device. They simply store small pieces of data that allow websites to recognise your browser and remember certain information between visits.

Types of Cookie by Duration
  • Session Cookies — temporary cookies that exist only while your browser is open and are deleted automatically when you close it.
  • Persistent Cookies — remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them manually, allowing the website to recognise you on future visits.
Types of Cookie by Origin
  • First-party Cookies — set directly by DronBrix on our own domain.
  • Third-party Cookies — set by external services we use, such as analytics or social media platforms, on their own domains.
02

How We Use Cookies

We use cookies to deliver a better, faster, and more secure experience on our website. Cookies allow us to understand how visitors interact with our site, remember your preferences, and improve our content and services over time.

The categories of cookies we use are described in detail in Section 3. In all cases, we only use cookies in ways that are proportionate to the purpose and in line with applicable UK and international data protection law.

03

Categories of Cookies We Use

We use four categories of cookies on our website. These are described below, along with their purpose and whether your consent is required.

04

Third-Party Cookies

In addition to our own cookies, we may use services from trusted third-party providers that set their own cookies. We have no direct control over these cookies, and they are governed by each provider's own privacy and cookie policy.

Third-Party Providers We May Use
  • Google Analytics — website traffic analysis and user behaviour reporting. View Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com.
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag — professional audience analytics and ad campaign attribution. View LinkedIn's Cookie Policy at linkedin.com.
  • Facebook Pixel — advertising measurement and retargeting. View Meta's Cookie Policy at facebook.com/policies.
  • HubSpot — CRM and marketing automation tracking. View HubSpot's Cookie Policy at legal.hubspot.com.

Please Note: We review our third-party providers regularly to ensure they meet appropriate data protection standards. You can opt out of third-party analytics and advertising cookies via the consent panel in Section 5, or directly through each provider's opt-out tools.

05

Your Cookie Preferences

You are in control of which cookies are active on your device. Essential cookies are always required for the website to function. For all other categories, you can toggle your preferences below at any time.

06

Managing Cookies in Your Browser

In addition to our on-site consent panel, you can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block all cookies, accept only certain types, or delete existing cookies. Please note that blocking essential cookies may affect website functionality.

For more detailed guidance on managing cookies, you can visit allaboutcookies.org or ico.org.uk, the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

07

Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting that sends a signal to websites requesting that your browsing behaviour not be tracked. As there is currently no universally accepted standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals, our website does not currently alter its behaviour in response to DNT requests.

We will continue to monitor developments in this area and update our approach should an industry standard emerge. In the meantime, you can use the consent panel in Section 5 to manage your tracking preferences directly.

08

Legal Basis for Using Cookies

Our use of cookies is governed by the UK GDPR, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), and applicable UK data protection law. We rely on the following legal bases:

  • Legitimate Interests — for essential cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of the website.
  • Consent — for analytics, functional, and marketing cookies, which are only set after you have given your explicit consent via our consent panel.

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time without detriment. To do so, simply adjust your preferences using the consent panel in Section 5 or contact us directly at info@dronbrix.com.

09

Data Collected via Cookies

Some cookies collect personal data, such as IP addresses or device identifiers, that may be used to identify you. Where cookies process personal data, this is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR obligations.

Data collected through analytics and marketing cookies is typically aggregated and anonymised where possible. We do not use cookies to collect sensitive personal data such as financial details, health information, or government identifiers.

  • Analytics data is retained for a maximum of 26 months before being automatically deleted
  • Marketing cookie data is retained for the period set by the respective third-party provider
  • Functional cookie data is retained only as long as necessary to deliver the intended feature

Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use, regulatory requirements, or improvements to our services. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated effective date.

Where changes are significant, we may notify you through a banner on our website. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of our website after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
